چکیده
Abstract Urbanization has been a global phenomenon producing great environmental and ecological challenges including species composition shifts in urban areas. To evaluate the interaction networks of inhabitant metacommunities parks, we applied nestedness analysis using survey data birds, reptiles, frogs, butterflies among 16 parks Taipei City Taiwan identified critical factors for biodiversity conservation. Results found significant these which indicated strong importance sustaining metacommunities. In addition, various types land use had different effects on incidence butterflies. It demonstrates that landscape design should consider taxonomic differences development conservation guidelines. also showed area woodlot park were elements nested structure. Nonetheless, abundant bird generalists to be highly related buildings within distance forests, rivers, neighbouring parks. Moreover, exotic affect native species. However, based current information, cannot confirm actual assemblages. Reptiles frogs appeared more easily threatened by habitat fragmentation due their lower vagility. this regard, suggest action focus preserving green space with large areas constructing corridors, creating crucial elements, increasing vertical complexity vagilities. We believe strategies can help reduce impact urbanization retain healthy interactions connections habitats effective

متن کاملBiodiversity, Urban Areas, and Agriculture: Locating Priority Ecoregions for Conservation
Urbanization and agriculture are two of the most important threats to biodiversity worldwide. The intensities of these land-use phenomena, however, as well as levels of biodiversity itself, differ widely among regions. Thus, there is a need to develop a quick but rigorous method of identifying where high levels of human threats and biodiversity coincide. These areas are clear priorities for bio...
متن کاملPreference study for Urban Parks Activities using Multiple Method Group: A Case of Gorgan City
Current literatures on urban parks and green spaces showed that people’s preference for visiting urban parks in various group users is different. People visit parks for various motives and activities, leading to several patterns of park usability. However, the patterns in urban park use in majority of Iran cities are not yet known. This study presented the preference for activity in urban...
متن کاملScaling up from gardens: biodiversity conservation in urban environments.
As urbanisation increases globally and the natural environment becomes increasingly fragmented, the importance of urban green spaces for biodiversity conservation grows. In many countries, private gardens are a major component of urban green space and can provide considerable biodiversity benefits. Gardens and adjacent habitats form interconnected networks and a landscape ecology framework is n...
